The races will begin at the
Fairhope Museum of History and will end at the Fairhope Pier in conjunction with the
Grand Festival of Art, Sponsored by the
Eastern Shore Art Center.
The starting point for the race mark's the finished site of
Fairhope Museum of History and COPA's Commissioned Art Fountain, Mullet Run,
by artist Ameri'ca Jones-Gallaspy.
The Fountain will be dedicated Sunday, October 18th at 2pm at the fountain, on the east side of the Fairhope museum of History, Bancroft Street, Downtown Fairhope.
Bay Area Youth Art, the race will bring together art lovers and runners alike, to be a part of the construction and dedication of the fountain and to continue involvement of our community in support of the arts and art education.
A percentage of the proceeds from the run will be donated to B.A.Y.A for Specific Youth Art Projects in the Mobile and Baldwin County area.
